Our 4 week beginners yoga course is a comprehensive introduction to yoga. During these 4 weeks you will be introduced to the basics of yoga including yoga poses (asana), correct alignment, breath (including pranayama) and meditation.
The course will provide you with the foundations, knowledge and experience to progress on to any class confidently whilst also starting to build strength and flexibility.
The course is designed to build gradually with a different theme and exploring the different categories of poses each week.
Week 1: Breath and Foundation – Warm ups and the main standing poses
Week 2: Stability and Extension – Forward bends and twists
Week 3: Lower body alignment – Backbends
Week 4: Upper body alignment – Preparing for inversions
We have a maximum of 14 people in each class to ensure your get the care and attention that is needed from your yoga teacher. Each week is designed so that a new topic is covered (with a little refresher of the previous week) that builds your understanding and abilities in the right order.
