Morning yoga is the best yoga, so if you’re one of Leeds’ early birds these classes are ideal, getting your mind and body prepped for the day.
Morning yoga is the perfect opportunity to gently wake up the body, focus the mind, and set clear intentions for the day ahead. These practices are open to all and uses the breath to follow a creative flow, to warm the body and centre the mind.
Starting the day out with a yoga practice will set your mind for a positive day.
Morning Yoga with Charlotte every Wednesday 6.30am (from 9 Jan)
Class will begin with a quietening and centering pranayama (breathing technique), move into a warming, opening flow to stretch out the body, and finish with more energising asanas and sun salutations to bring in energy and movement for the day ahead.
This rise and shine class will be an invigorating practice that will be focused on stretching out after hours of stillness, warming up & focusing the mind for the day ahead and maybe even setting an intention or two.
The class will centre around Sun Salutation sequences (Surya Namaskar) and feed in other asanas to create a full body movement class creating a more grateful, alert sense of self.
Morning Yoga with Pam every Saturday 9.30am
Pam’s yoga is slightly faster flow yoga for a Saturday morning, influenced by loving creativity in movement, taking bits from Ido Portal and Rocket teacher Jamie Blowers. She has an ‘if it feels right then do it attitude’.
Expect to feel you’re in a safe space to explore your movement and body, there is no right or wrong way to the sequence.
Music is always a big part of Pam’s classes, so expect to smile and feel gooooood.
