Awakening what’s been dormant in the long winter months, our upcoming Yin Yoga Renewal session will focus on postures to unblock energy in the Liver and Kidney Meridians. These vital organs support the body’s digestive system and detoxification functions. The sequence will focus on stretching the side body, hips, thighs and twists for the spine. Releasing blockages will allow the energy to flow effectively through the body to help us to feel more vibrant and calm, creating space for rejuvenation and expansion.
Remember to always be gentle and kind to yourself. It’s important to practice our yin poses with intention, awareness and patience, allowing our bodies to open up in their own time.
